Bio

Jason Hitzeman joined the Reinhardt University coaching staff prior to the start of the 2021-2022 season as an assistant coach overseeing sprints, jumps, hurdles, relays, and multis. During his 4 seasons at Reinhardt, Coach Jason’s athletes have set 31 school records, earned 25 AAC All-Conference awards, and won 8 AAC individual championships. He has also coached 16 NAIA National Qualifiers during his tenure. Prior to Reinhardt, Coach Jason has had many coaching jobs in both individual and team settings, including every level from middle school to adult recreational runners. He holds USATF Level II coaching certifications in both throws and sprints/hurdles/relays.
