CLEVELAND, Ga. – Min Lee took a pass from Andres Jorquera and found the back of the net at 85:41 for the match-winner against Truett McConnell (Ga.), 1-0, Wednesday night in a highly-contested battle within the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).
The hard-fought victory snapped the Eagles' two match slide as they are now 11-2 and 8-2 inside the AAC.
Reinhardt was able to break through on the scoreboard after putting pressure on the Bear defense throughout the night to the tune of an 18-9 advantage in shot attempts.
Both defenses were able to hold in the first half and nearly made it through the entire 90 minutes, but Truett McConnell let its guard down in the final minutes and Lee took advantage.
The Eagles also led the way in corner kicks at 7-3.
Individually, Gus Fidler (six) and Blake White (four) teamed up for more than half of their team's shots.
Niko Tzevelekos went wire to wire in the net and made three saves in the triumph.
The Buffaloes of Milligan (Tenn.) come to town on Saturday evening in a 7:15 p.m. conference matchup.
