Henson Top RU Golfer at NAIA National Preview

Dalton, GA - Reinhardt Men's Golf competed in the NAIA National Preview held at the Dalton Country Club on October 2nd & 3rd, which hosted some of the top NAIA teams in the country including Keiser University and Dalton State University. Also in the mix was AAC member Truett McConnell and former AAC member - Point University.

Dalton Henson was the top Eagle golfer for the second tournament in a row and he was followed closely by teammate Dylan Long. Henson finished with a 75, 76, and 76 for a total of 227 in the three-round, 54-hole tournament.  He finished tied in 23rd position out of close to 80 top NAIA golfers.  

Long finished tied in 33rd position with a three-round total of 229. He shot a 71, 80, and 78 for the three rounds on the Par 72 course.

Next for the Eagles is a trip to Columbia, SC for the AAC Fall Preview on October 16th & 17th.
