Eagles Sweep NCAA Team Benedict College 3-0

Waleska, GA –  The Reinhardt Eagles Men's Volleyball team hosted and defeated NCAA II opponents, Benedict College in a three-set sweep on Monday night (3-0; 25-19, 25-14, 25-20). The Eagles had strong offense tonight with 42 total kills and hit a stellar .301. This was a great win for Reinhardt as they only have a few matches left before entering the conference tournament in just a little over a week. Newcomer, Rodolfo Biegelmeyer was and continues to be a major part of the Eagles' offense, slamming down 10 kills (.292) and added 2 blocks on this match. Bruno Dewes ran a very smooth offense, totaling 37 of Reinhardt's 39 assists. Defensively, Alex Sanchez had 18 digs and Troy Sly had 3 blocks. With this 3-0 sweep, Reinhardt improved their record to 17-5 and keeps a conference record of 6-3 to remain 2^nd in the AAC.

 "All the Honor and Glory to God, in victory or defeat! Tonight we made a goal that no matter the result, we would do it together; from the game plan from the staff and the execution from the players. We got away from that in the last couple of matches and the guys took a step in the right direction tonight. As a coach, I was very happy to see that and hope they can continue that as we move forward!"
