AAC Releases 2022 Cross Country Preseason Poll
Waleska, GA - The AAC released its predictions for the finish of the men's and women's cross country season. Reinhardt Men's Cross Country Team is picked to finish in 5th and the Women's Team is sitting at the #9 spot.
Both teams are bringing back several solid runners with experience in both the cross country season and the indoor and outdoor track season. The runners actually are able to compete for the entire school year if they do all three sports.
The men's team will have runners like Salvador Castillo, Logan Ray, Braden Ray, Nic Romero, Tom Vincent, and others leading the way to try to knock off long-time cross country champ - Milligan University. The Eagles have a solid team that will be pushed to move up the standings under new Head Coach, Austin Brennan.
The women's team will be looking to move up the standings as well with Brooke Simon leading the way for the Eagles. She had an impressive run last year competing in cross country, indoor track, and outdoor track. The women's team has a lot of youth which can develop fast under the leadership of Coach Brennan.
Milligan University is picked to finish first in both men's and women's cross country this season, but hopefully, the Eagles can push their way up the standings to compete with the longtime champs. The 2022 AAC Cross Country Championship Meet is set for Nov. 4 in Columbia, S.C.
