2023 NAIA Softball All-America Honorees Announced

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2023 Softball All-America teams as selected by the NAIA-Softball Coaches' Association All-America Committee. Haley Loffer of the College of Idaho and Annalise Wood of Georgia Gwinnett headline the honorees as the National Player of the Year and National Pitcher of the Year.

Reinhardt Softball's Emily Loveless was named an NAIA All-American Honorable Mention after having an outstanding regular season and postseason for the Eagles. The junior shortstop was again one of the statistical leaders with a .412 batting average and a .703 slugging percentage. She led in almost every category for the Eagles including at-bats, runs scored, hits, doubles, home runs, and RBIs. Below are her numbers for the 2023 season.

Loveless leadership in the field and at the plate helped the Eagles win the AAC regular season and place second in the AAC Tournament. In the tournament, Loveless was outstanding and her bat almost single-handedly brought the team back in the final game to a tournament championship.

The Eagles performed well in the NAIA Tournament, but eventually lost in the regional finals to the overall NAIA Champion - Southern Oregon.

Loveless was named to the AAC First Team and she was an All-Tournament team member as well. She very well could have been the AAC Tournament MVP if the Eagles would have won the final game of the tournament.

In addition to the Loveless being named to the NAIA All-American Honorable Mention, several Eagles were named to the NAIA Scholar-Athletes Team:
