Eagles Remain Undefeated with Another AAC Win over Montreat 65-52
Waleska, GA - The Reinhardt Eagle women's were back at home in conference play this past Wednesday, November 30th. The Eagles matched up versus the Montreat Cavaliers, who were also having a dominating season at 5-1 before this match-up. Reinhardt had a strong offense with a 50% field goal percentage and a tenacious defense who held the Cavaliers to just 4 baskets the second quarter. Ashley Woodroffe had a huge impact on this 65-52 win with a squad-high of 21 points. This is the Eagles 8th straight conference win, remaining undefeated in the AAC. While the Montreat Cavaliers now fall to 5-2 in the conference. This Reinhardt basketball team is currently sitting at #1 in the AAC conference and proves themselves to be the team to beat.
Outstanding Performers:
- Ashley Woodroffe led the Eagle offense with a performance of 21 points. Maria Sanchez Ponce came off the bench to give the eagles 12 points. Preston also had 4 assists.
- Ashley Woodroffe also managed to get her hands on 4 rebounds, while Avanna Preston added the same
- Avanna Preston added 4 steals, while Summer Cramer had 4 as well.
