Eagles Drop Another Game to AAC Opponent Bluefield 78-67
Bluefield, VA – The Reinhardt women's basketball team had an amazing beginning of the season, staying undefeated throughout the first half of the season, heading into the New Year 14-0. Since then, the Eagles have been struggling since going 3-6 since the beginning of the year. The Eagles look to turn it around, having only a handful of AAC games left before the conference play. This game was played this past Saturday, February 4th, away versus the Bluefield College Rams, where Bluefield ultimately won 78-67. The Eagles had an electrifying 1st quarter, scoring 24 points. The scoring then started it slow down, with just 12 point the 2nd and 13 in the final quarter. Tarrah Gibson played a great game for her team, scoring 19 points with 6 rebounds and 3 steals. Following her, was Ashley Woodroffe with 18. The Eagles are now sitting at 4th in the AAC Conference with a 15-6 record and 17-7 overall.
