Reinhardt Travels to Brenau and Earn the 93-51 WIN over the Tigers to Remain Undefeated!!

Gainesville, GA – The Reinhardt women's basketball team traveled to Brenau University to compete in an AAC match-up on Wednesday afternoon and earned the 93-51 win. This was the second matchup between the Eagles and Brenau Tigers as RU took the first game 103-67. 

Reinhardt played great offensively throughout the entirety of the game, scoring 20+ points in all four quarters. The Eagles offense have set them a part from other teams as they have multiple players who can score the ball. In this match-up, RU had 5 different players with double-digit scoring.  

Reinhardt's Maria Sanchez Ponce was the leading scorer and earned herself a double-double with 22 points and 14 rebounds. Tarrah Gibson also played a great game with 12 points and 9 rebounds. 

 The Eagles now sit with an 18-0 record in the AAC and have a 22-0 record overall. The next game for RU will be a home game versus Columbia International University on Tuesday, February 6th, at 5:30pm. Reinhardt is having an unforgettable season as they were recently voted at #23 in the NAIA Top9 25 and are one of the only remaining teams with an undefeated record.
