Program-Best Nine Players Selected as All-AAC for Women's Soccer

ASHEVILLE, N.C. – It was another record-setting day for women's soccer on Friday, as nine total honorees – four first team members and five second teamers – highlighted the 2020 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) All-Conference selections for Reinhardt.
The cumulative number of awards, which were voted on by the women's soccer coaches in the league, are a program record for the hometown club.

Last Wednesday night, the Eagles (15-1) traveled to Truett McConnell (Ga.) for the AAC Championship Final and came away with their first conference banner since 2016 after taking down the Bears on their home field, 3-1.
The victory for the Eagles, who had already qualified for the 37th Annual NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship, was their 15th in-a-row and a new school record.

The offense for the Eagles has been in the top 10 in several NAIA categories, including goals (66; 9th), goals per match (4.13; 10th) and assists (49; 11th).
Jasmine Usher led the team in scoring with 15 goals and six assists (36 points), and joining her in double-digit scoring was Brianna Smotherman with 12 netted shots and seven assists (31 points).
Defensively, Reinhardt helped shut down opposing offenses by allowing just .69 goals per outing, which rankings 27th nationally.
Caroline Johnson is 14-1 on the year protecting the net, as the junior from Evans, Ga., has tallied 49 saves while allowing just 10 scores (.831 save percentage) and helped in eight shutouts.
