Waleska, GA – With two players with two goals a piece, the RU women's soccer team put themselves on the right side of the scoreboard in the first AAC conference game of the year, handedly defeating the Bluefield College Rams 10–0.
Notes:
- Saturday afternoon's dominant win sees Reinhardt University improve to 1-3 overall (1-0 AAC), while Bluefield still has not found a win at 0–4 (0-1 AAC).
HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Reinhardt University dominated the offensive possessions of the game, putting and keeping pressure on the Bluefield back line early in the game.
- With the 1st goal by Kira Council being in just the 1st minute of the game, it set the tone for the entire match. 5 goals for the Reinhardt Eagles in the first half, led to 5 more, ending the game 10–0.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE:
- Reinhardt University enjoyed a large lead in shots, kicking 50 total shots to Bluefield's 0.
- With the large shot differential, the Rams lead saves 18–0.
- The Reinhardt team earns quite a few corner kicks, taking 11 to none by Bluefield.
- Carrie Consolino and Kira Council had the team's high of 2 goals a piece.
- 7 different Reinhardt players each recorded a goal.
