RU Volleyball Earns 8th-Straight AAC Win over St. Andrews
Waleska, GA – The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team hosted St. Andrews to play AAC opponents, the Knights. Reinhardt played St. Andrews earlier in the season which resulted in a 3-1 victory for the Eagles. This game was tougher for Reinhardt to overcome but still left with a 5-set AAC win over St. Andrews (3-2; 25-20, 16-25, 21-25, 25-14, 15-12) This was Reinhardt's 7th-straight AAC win improving their record to 13-3 in conference play.
Outstanding Performers:
- Maria Piliposyans led the Eagle offense this afternoon with 13 kills (.267). While Ambria McBride was closely behind with 12 (.290) and Katherine Perrin had 11 (.267).
- Samantha Cramer led in assists with 30 and Maria Cordova had 25. Cordova also added 9 kills, 10 digs, and 2 service aces.
- Alma Vazquez Nunez had the squad-high of 21 digs while Claudia Klein had 2nd most with 19 digs on the day.
- Maria Piliposyans not only had a great offensive day, but also ended the match with 8 total blocks.

While the team comparison is close and both teams had many errors on the match, the RU volleyball team managed to be ahead in every statistical category besides aces in this 5-set victory over St. Andrews.

- The Reinhardt University women's volleyball team continue its conference play and hope to continue their AAC streak with an on-the-road game this coming Tuesday, October 25th, versus the Brenau Golden Tigers at 6:30pm. This will be Reinhardt's second match up against the Golden Tigers after beating them 3-2 the first game.
