Eagles Advance to Semi-Finals with a Win over Milligan 3-1
Kingsport, TN – The Reinhardt University women's volleyball made their way to Kingsport, TN for the AAC Conference tournament. The first match-up was versus the Milligan Buffs. The Eagles came out ready-to-play the first set with a dominating score of 25-11. Milligan then picked it up and gave a better fight. Reinhardt managed to come out on top over the Buffs, with a win and will move on to the Semi-Finals (3-1; 25-11, 25-23, 17-25, 25-23). Also, Allison Selway, Alma Vazquez Nunez, and Katherine Perrin was named 2nd Team All-Conference, while Maria Piliposyans was named on the All-Freshman Team. Caroline Curry was also awarded with the Champions of Character Award. Lastly, Tessa Colden was named Assistant Coach of the Year. Congratulations Eagles.
Outstanding Performers:
- Ambria McBride had a dominate performance led the Eagle offense with 17 kills, while Katherine Perrin followed behind with 10 kills.
- Maria Cordova led in assists with 28, while Samantha Cramer added 19.
- Alma Vazquez Nunez had the squad-high of 17 digs while Claudia Klein had the second-most with 12.
- Abbi Cruz led the Eagles in service aces with 4 and Nunez added 3.
- Maria Piliopsyans ended the match with 7 total blocks.

Reinhardt managed to lead in every statistical category besides digs resulting in this 3-1 victory over the Milligan Buffs.

- With Reinhardt clinching this AAC Conference Quarterfinals win, the Eagles will now move on to play CIU in the Semi-Finals. This game will be played Saturday,November 12th at 10AM. If the Eagles get past this game with a W, they will move on to the championship that will happen later that day at 4pm.
