September 14, 2025
Lakeland, FL- In a competitive matchup Saturday night, the Reinhardt Eagles faced off against the Southeastern Fire at Victory Field. Despite a strong start, the Eagles were unable to maintain their lead, ultimately falling with a final score of 41-20 in favor of the Fire.
The game commenced with the Eagles swiftly taking an early lead. Alex Hanson kicked off the scoring with a 44-yard field goal. The momentum continued as Jah Colbert dashed across the end zone for a 1-yard touchdown run, propelling Reinhardt to an early 10-0 lead. However, Southeastern quickly found its stride in the second quarter. Curtis Kimmons and Jocquet Jiles added to the Fire's score, and by halftime, Southeastern held a commanding 21-10 lead. The fourth quarter further solidified Southeastern's advantage with Kimmons making a crucial 14-yard run. The Eagles tried to respond, and although Ethan Rice scored a 20-yard touchdown, it wasn't enough to bridge the gap.
